The secret of today’s sensational quality is painstaking care in high-altitude vineyards. Star winemaker Luis Felipe Edwards uses only the most intensely ripe grapes (a tiny proportion of the crop!), meticulously handpicked from vineyards planted in mountain foothills at dizzying heights.
Just as the finest Bordeaux estates do, Luis Felipe ages his pride-and-joy Cabernet in expensive French barriques and allows it to mellow in bottle before releasing it perfectly aged and ready to drink. The delicious results are soft and full-bodied.
